Our diverse and international leadership team heads up a group of thought leaders and specialists that support developers to get the most out of their game.

Timm Geyer – CEO

Timm makes things happen here at Spil Games, ensuring that the strategy of the business is executed to maximum effect. He leads the company’s portal, advertising, technology and globalization teams.

He has worked in senior positions for several gaming and online companies including SevenGamesNetwork, Splitscreen Studios, Bigpoint and AOL.

He holds a law degree from the University of Kiel and an executive MBA from the Hamburg Media School.

Jacqueline Wièrdak – General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Jacqueline advises the management team on IP rights, privacy, corporate governance and all aspects of the law. She makes sure Spil Games complies with the complex rules that apply to games in the countries around the world where it operates, including the US.

She defines and implements the contractual framework enabling the company to work with a whole range of business partners. And she is Spil Games’ corporate secretary.

Prior to Spil Games, she was an attorney for more than ten years, as well as a senior policy adviser at the Dutch Data Protection Authority. She holds a law degree from the University of Leiden and has a postgraduate qualification in IT law from Grotius Academy. She has almost 20 years experience in the legal field.

Mathijs Seegers – CFO

Mathijs is in charge of Spil Games’ finance, business intelligence and corporate development teams. He oversees Spil’s financial planning, as well as investment and market analysis strategies.

Mathijs has an extensive background in financial control, business analysis and business control having worked previously at ABN Amro and Deutsche Bank.

He has a master in political science and an executive master in finance and control from the University of Amsterdam.

Juuso Alho – Senior Director Content Monetization

Juuso is responsible for advertising and leads a team that delivers over 4 billion ad impressions every month.

It is one of the most technologically advanced teams in the world, operating more than 40 domains and mobile apps with a programmatic-first approach.

He’s also a valued member of the IAB Netherlands Mobile Advertising Task Force.

Juuso has previously held roles at Nokia and Comptel.

Yuliya Nabieva – Director Reach Games

Yuliya’s focus is on developing and executing strategies in our web games business with a view to maximising revenue. She searches out new opportunities and platforms for web games including MMO games publishing and optimisation.

She has more than 10 years’ experience in technology business development with 6 years in the games market. This included bringing mobile casual games to Asia.

Previously Yuliya has worked at Alawar Entertainment and BusinessWare Technologies.

Patrik Wilkens – Senior Manager Business Development and Platform Relations

Patrik is our head scout, seeking out exciting new game possibilities and building our relationships with important partners including Apple, Google, Facebook and Amazon. He makes sure we have the coolest games and that the games we publish have the most amazing opportunities.

He has more than 10 years’ experience in the gaming industry including 7 working in the important Chinese market. Patrik has built his expertise at a variety of companies including Goodgame Studios (acquired by Stillfront), 6waves, and ShouJi Mobile (acquired by Tencent).

He founded Game Industry Networking, a platform for gaming professionals to share news and ideas.
