COUNTRY MANAGER SALES,

Tasks and Responsibilities:
As the Country Manager of the German Sales Office, you will be responsible for setting up a satellite office of SPIL GAMES for the Sales department in Hamburg, Germany. You will be responsible for the ad sales revenues from both advertisers as well as large media and advertising agencies for the German Game Portals:
www.jetzspielen.de,
www.spielen.com, and
www.girlsgogames.de. You will need to put together a sales plan on which you will report to SPIL's CCO. You will recruit and manage a team of account managers and ensure the further growth of your team. You must have a strong drive to meet your set targets and to continually search for new commercial possibilities and opportunities. For this, you should make use of your existing network. In this position, you are also responsible for:
- Developing a local go-to-market strategy;
- Your team reaching and exceeding the set revenue targets;
- Stimulating your team to develop both individually and as a whole;
- Ensuring the best possible flow of communication and information within the team and with our Dutch HQ;
- Monitoring the quality and quantity of the sales.
Your profile:
- A minimum Bachelor's thinking and working level;
- At least 6 years experience as a sales account manager;
- At least 3 years experience directing a sales team;
- A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset;
- A broad network within the (online) media world, including the large advertisers;
- Experience selling media space, preferably online;
- A problem solver who is results-oriented in thought and action;
- A good communicator with negotiation skills;
- A flexible and stress-resistant initiator who acts with conviction.
