INTERNATIONAL PORTAL MANAGER
Tasks and Responsibilities:

As the International Portal Manager of the Tweens Channel, you will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and be responsible for the worldwide success of our 13 casual game portals aimed at "tweens" between the ages of 8 and 14. You will determine the strategy for design, functionality, and further development of the portals, which, with the help of a team of colleagues, you will be responsible for implementing. Other tasks and responsibilities will include:
  • Ensuring the success of our 13 websites worldwide aimed at tweens;
  • Optimizing traffic, conversion, and visitor retention;
  • Managing a multidisciplinary team;
  • Directing the development of design, functionality, and features for the sites;
  • Deciding the content strategy for games that are placed or developed;
  • Determining a clear branding, positioning, and target group policy and bringing this to life through all communication;
  • Analyzing and reporting on results, adjusting the strategy where necessary;
  • Working with external partners to optimize revenues, traffic, and conversion rates;
  • Working with the IT Department, Game Development, Online Marketing, and Business Development;
  • Managing quality control of all websites in your channel.

Your profile:
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing and/or Business
  • Minimum 5 years experience in online media or e-commerce, preferably in a portal environment
  • At home in the online gaming market as well as on social networking sites
  • Ample experience and affinity with the tweens target group
  • Goal-oriented, pragmatic, and accurate with a good analytical ability
  • Independent team player who is flexible with a strong sense of responsibility
  • Creative and enterprising spirit
  • Solid oral and written communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Extensive experience with online marketing is a must
  • Broad experience with improving conversion
