SPIL GAMES is a leader in the online casual gaming market, providing over 45 localized game portals all over the world. Every month, over 75 million unique visitors worldwide play online games on portals such as: gamesgames.com, spelletjes.nl, jeux.fr, games.co.uk, and juegos.com. By the end of 2008, we expect to reach more than 100 million unique visitors per month, which will further solidify us as the leading European internet company with the largest online reach.

To accomplish this, we partner up with some of the best and leading game publishers and platform developers in the world. In addition to third-party games, we also develop and launch games ourselves.

We have more than 150 employees based in Hilversum (the Netherlands), Shanghai (China), and Krakow (Poland). In our Dutch office, 60 staff members work to secure the success of SPIL GAMES in a unique, dynamic, and informal environment.

In this role, you will:

• Analyze in what way, for example, branded games on third-party sites, links with social communities, and widgets can be used in our marketing mix;
• Increase the traffic to our portals with the use of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Advertising (SEA);
• Analyze and manage, based on budgeting, how to get the most high-quality traffic for the best price using Google Adwords campaigns;
• Maintain contact with Google over optimization;
• Analyze the statistics, anticipate results, and work with the Channel Managers to act upon this information;
• Ensure accurate management information.

• Bachelor’s in Economics or New Media;
• Experience with SEO and SEA;
• Proven experience with viral internet marketing;
• Experience with writing creative texts;
• Analytical ability, accurate, good with numbers;
• Structured and organized worker;
• Strong communication skills;
• Flexible and independent with initiative and a hands-on mentality;
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages, in speaking and writing.
