PROJECT DIRECTOR
Tasks and Responsibilities:

The Project Director is the head of the Project Management Department at SPIL GAMES. In this role, you will:
  • Ensure your department meets client expectations of quality, schedule, and budget;
  • Generate, maintain, and communicate detailed and fully linked and resourced project plans to the immediate project team, upper management, and the customer (as appropriate);
  • Monitor the projects' progress to meet agreed targets with ongoing technical risk reduction, reporting deviations and implementing corrective action and/or mitigation where required;
  • Align project processes with other teams to ensure that the organization maximizes performance, scalability, quality, and value-based releases;
  • Promote and stimulate cooperation between the Systems Development Team and Portal Development Teams;
  • Develop, implement, and maintain sound business practices;
  • Provide senior level resolutions to client issues in cases of escalation, communicating effectively with clients to identify their needs and evaluate alternative business solutions and strategies;
  • Enforce standard policies and procedures;
  • Bridge commercial and technical environments.


Your profile:
  • Minimum HBO/Bachelor's level education
  • Minimum 8 years of related experience in project management in a web-development-based organization
  • Minimum 5 years of (people) management experience
  • Good knowledge of several project management methodologies
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a team player
  • Ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance of, others in sensitive and technical situations
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English
