Spil Games is looking for a experienced producer / project manager for its game development studio in Shanghai. We are looking for a person with a good knowledge of the online gaming industry who can complete projects well and on time. In this role, you will be responsible for the communication between our team in Holland and the game development team in Shanghai. You will need to ensure both quality of the games and efficiency of the team. Furthermore, you will need to check work progress and make sure people do not deviate too much from the game design documents. Being the producer of the games, you will have the responsibility for the game budgets.

Communication is an important part of this position, and you will therefore need to have (or learn to have) a cultural understanding of the China and the way people work in China. You will work from our Chinese game studio (Zlong Games), which is located in downtown Shanghai. Your profile:

• HBO/Bachelor’s thinking and working level;
• 5-years work experience with games and game development projects and knowledge of online gaming market;
• Strong communication;
• Open for other cultures, intercultural competence;
• Fluent in English, knowledge of Mandarin Chinese is an advantage but not a requirement;
• Initiative and independent worker;
• Basic technical knowledge;
• Likes to play games;
• Able to manage expectations and risks;
• Knowledgeable about business as well as IT;
• Willing to work and live in Shanghai for a minimum of 2 years;
• Deadline is deadline!-mentality;

• A good salary package, including an allowance to rent an apartment in Shanghai;
• Working in an ambitious and expanding company, in one of the most vibrant and booming cities in the world;
