CEO, Co-Founder, and Co-Owner of SPIL GAMES
Peter Driessen co-founded SPIL GAMES in 2001 with current SPIL GAMES COO Bennie Eeftink. When establishing SPIL Games, Peter's goal was to assemble an award-winning team in tune with the needs of today's consumers, and to develop the best games and portals to deliver maximum game traffic.
As co-founder and CEO, Peter leads the management team with a focus on human resources management, strategy, and M&A. His philosophy of investing in the right people, while focusing on long-term goals, is a key ingredient in SPIL's success as the company explores new opportunities in online gaming.
Prior to co-founding SPIL GAMES, Peter was the owner of a consulting firm specializing in assessment and management coaching. His entrepreneurial spirit and interest in media inspired him to collaborate with Bennie Eeftink on the creation of an online community for teens in Holland. From there, the team developed several websites and portals, and began focusing on the casual gaming portals that were to become his passion at SPIL GAMES.
Bennie Eeftink
CSO, Co-Founder, and Co-Owner of SPIL GAMES
Bennie Eeftink established SPIL GAMES in 2001 with current SPIL GAMES CEO Peter Driessen. In addition to developing online gaming communities at SPIL GAMES, Bennie specializes in the fields of search engines, domain names and online game content.
After finishing his studies in commercial economics in 1999, Bennie started his first internet company called EMS (Eeftink Marketing Services), which focused on online communities and domain name trading. From his past experiences, Bennie has grown to become an expert in the field of online user experience and internet-related marketing methods.
He brings a passion for entrepreneurialism to SPIL GAMES, and advises his management team to strive and achieve their goals.
Bret Kelly
Chief Technnology Officer
As the Chief Technology Officer of SPIL GAMES, Bret Kelly is responsible for leading the technical development of the company's websites around the world through innovation in engineering and operational infrastructure.
Prior to joining SPIL GAMES, Bret was the CTO of Marktplaats.nl, where he lead the technology team through the company’s transition and accelerated growth following its acquisition by eBay. Before joining Marktplaats.nl, Bret spent seven years as a Technical Consultant at Accenture, where his clients included Microsoft, American Express, Gateway, Texas Instruments, eBay, and more. Bret has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with High Honors from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
Willem van Wijmen
Chief Financial Officer
Willem joined SPIL GAMES as Chief Financial Officer in 2007.
Willem began his career at the international consultancy firm KPMG, where he worked for three years as a first-class consultant in the corporate finance section. Willem's first contact with new media was during his time at the Dutch radio station, Business News Radio, where he worked as the Finance Director. There he played a major role in setting up finance systems, restructuring, and integrating various business units.
Willem holds a degree in Business Administration from Nyenrode Business University and a degree in Business Economics from the University of Amsterdam.
Sidney Mock
Chief Commercial Officer
Sidney Mock, Chief Commercial Officer at SPIL GAMES, is responsible for defining and implementing the company's international commercial strategy. He leads all revenue-driven activities and recruits and oversees the worldwide sales teams.
In 2008, Sidney joined SPIL from Google, where he served as Industry Leader for the Netherlands, responsible for the sales of Google products across Financial Services, Local (classifieds) and the Automotive sector. He previously held the position of Country Marketing Manager for Google in the Benelux market, and drove the launch and growth of all the Google products and services in this region.
Prior to Google, Sidney was Marketing Director for Monster Worldwide and led Monster to the #1 position in the Dutch market. His award-winning Go!Go!Go! campaign won the Golden Effie for most effective advertising campaign in the Netherlands. He also served as Marketing Manager at Smart, and was responsible for the market launch of Smart cars in the Dutch market.
Sidney had his formal education at Nyenrode Business University. He is passionate about the internet and developed his first website in 1996.
Oscar Diele

Chief Marketing Officer
Oscar Diele, Chief Marketing Officer of SPIL GAMES, is responsible for all consumer marketing activities, including the management of all game portals worldwide as well as traffic acquisition through online marketing. In addition, he leads the creation, acquisition, and localization of all portal content.
Prior to joining SPIL GAMES in 2009, Oscar served as the Vice President of E-Commerce at TomTom, where he built the entire e-commerce platform for TomTom and was responsible for driving all online marketing and sales activities in 25 regions worldwide. Before joining TomTom in 2007, Oscar was at eBay Inc., where he served as Director of Marketing for eBay.nl and Marktplaats.nl. In this role, Oscar drove all marketing-related activities as well as the post-acquisition integration of Marktplaats.nl within the eBay Inc. organization. Prior to eBay Inc., Oscar was the Manager of Internet and E-Commerce at Wehkamp.nl, the leading e-tailer in the Netherlands, where he was responsible for leading all of the company's e-commerce activities.
Oscar earned a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing (HEAO) from the Hogeschool Windesheim, in Zwolle, the Netherlands, and an Executive MBA from the University of Hertfordshire in the UK. He has been passionate about gaming ever since he received his first computer, a Commodore 64, in 1982.
Chief Executive Officer Asia
As acting CEO of SPIL GAMES Asia, Marc van der Chijs is responsible for all company game portals in the Asian market as well as the in-house game development studio, Zlong Games.
With a master's degree in Business Economics from Maastricht University, his background is firmly rooted in business management and technology.
Prior to joining SPIL GAMES, Marc co-founded and was an active board member of the leading Chinese video site Tudou.com. From 1996 through 2002, Marc held several management positions at automobile manufacturer Daimler in Stuttgart and Beijing.
Multilingual in Dutch, English, German and French, and extremely interested in both the internet industry and gaming, Marc is excited to be leading the growth of SPIL GAMES in Asia.
