German Online Customer Service Specialist



Tasks & Responsibilities

Spil Games is seeking an outgoing individual to help out the gamer communities on our portals and on social networks, such as Facebook, etc. The ideal candidate must be able to improve the relationship with our customers and be passionate about creating the best experience for our users. As an Online Customer Service Specialist at Spil Games, you will handle both game-related questions as well as payment questions.
The core tasks and responsibilities of this position include:

  • Answering game and payment-related emails on a daily basis;
  • Answering corporate (and other) emails on a daily basis;
  • Assisting and executing process related to the department, such as:
  • Translation processes
  • Tone of voice of responses
  • Quality monitoring of our websites
  • Aligning with internal and external partners and stakeholders to solve incidents and bugs and to propose ideas to improve the User Experience
  • (Technical) investigation of problems and solutions for them
  • Engaging with the community and users via our websites and social media
  • Answering occasional phone calls from users

Your profile

  • Native or close to native language proficiency German, both written and verbal
  • Fluent in English
  • Knowledge of any other language especially Dutch (basic/intermediate) is a plus
  • Love and enthusiasm for social media and games
  • Previous customer support and/or forum-moderation experience, with focus on technical support
  • Team-oriented self-starter with the ability to plan, organize, and execute
  • Creative and pragmatic approach to problem solving
  • Strong self-motivation and a high level of commitment
  • Sense of reward in helping people, solving problems, and proactively using that experience to improve services
  • Love of writing and sharing ideas with others
  • Willingness to work outside office hours when requested (we run an evening and weekend schedule)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows/MS Office
  • You are already residing in the Netherlands and have a valid work permit.
