Internship: Game Design



Tasks & Responsibilities

As a Game Design Intern you will become a member of the game design team, whose key responsibility is to produce innovative games by working closely with external developers to optimize and enhance their mobile products. You will be required to help provide gameplay QA support for our portfolio of mobile products. This includes building test cases and performing checks on the games to ensure there are no major bugs. You will also work with product management to report these bugs and provide solutions on any core design issues found.

Your primary responsibilities will be:

  • Ability to take ownership of Gameplay QA process
  • Able to create high quality test cases that can be used by external studios 
  • Collecting and documenting design feedback from team members and stakeholders;
  • Preparing & Conducting quality assurance tests and playtests;
  • Research and analyze the existing market based on facts (internal/ external business intelligence tools).

Your profile

  • Bachelor/Masters study in a relevant field
  • A strong affinity for mobile casual / social gaming, with playing experience on several platforms
  • Creative with a strong understanding of commercially focused games
  • Good communication skills and an enthusiastic and persuasive attitude
  • Familiar with Photoshop or other graphic programs and MS Office
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • You should be enrolled as full-time student for the complete duration of the internship
  • Valid EU work permit and residing in the Netherlands. You are legally allowed to perform your internship in the Netherlands (we cannot sponsor your Visa/work permit)
